Public Transportation

Public Transportation in Toronto

The Toronto public transit system is known as the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) and includes buses, streetcars and subway trains. A one-way ride on the TTC costs $3.00 (CDN), but ride tokens or tickets are available for a reduced price if bought in quantities of five or more (7 tokens for $18.20).

Day passes
are also available for $ 10.50 .During the week end this pass is valid for 2 adults (or 2 adults and no more than 4 children), so  if you travel with a friend or your family you might consider this option

please, be advised that the subway runs form 6:00 am to 1:30 am every day except on sunday, when it opens at 9:00 am

check http://www.ttc.ca/ for maps, schedules and night buses routes.
